The role you'll contribute:

The SC Receiving and Distribution Tech is responsible for receiving incoming mail, supplies and equipment for all corporate service locations: Includes scanning receiving documents, delivering supplies to departments, handling returns to the supplier, tagging equipment, and completing all associated computer software tasks to ensure accurate record keeping. This position will also have responsibility for the supply replenishment and delivery process of par locations; this includes straightening, counting, picking, and stocking supplies for specific areas then completing any paperwork or computer software tasks needed to account for inventory movement. The Supply Chain Receiving & Distribution Tech will assist in picking and delivering supplies to departments upon request, picking up items for return, and general upkeep of the inventory storage spaces.

Receiving Responsibilities

• Inspects and accepts deliveries, ensures product delivered matches packing slips, and identifies location to which the packages/supplies/equipment are to be delivered.

• Communicates with Supply Chain Shared Services related to Purchase Orders, invoice match exceptions, and backorder status.

• Accurately completes receiving process in computer and scans all packing slips into MMIS system per established timelines.

• Ensures overnight packages are processed and delivered timely to meet customer needs.

• Maintains assigned area in clean, safe and organized manner

• Affixes property record (asset) tags to Capital Equipment upon receipt, communicates all needed information to purchasing around the asset (i.e. item description, PO #, asset tag number, serial number, etc.)

• Resolves invoice match exceptions due to receipt discrepancies related to purchase orders.

• Prepares items for return and ensures pick up of goods once an RTV or RGA has been issued. Resolves delivery errors with Supply Chain Shared Services when items are received in error (ie, misdirected, wrong UOM, wrong destination)

• Responsible for keeping storage spaces organized, neat and stocked with proper mail room supplies.

• Responsible for the inventory of stationary, notebooks, brochures, etc. for the campus.

• Sort all incoming mail and packages, including recording the name, department and tracking number of all overnight packages.

• Serves as backup for setting up corporate office staff as users on our Opti-Freight account.

• Inputs proper postage amounts on postage machines at 900 Hope Way and Southhall locations, including the monitoring the amount of postage.

Distribution Responsibilities

• Assist in determining par-levels for both perpetual and non-perpetual inventory locations within the assigned warehouse spaces. Ensures all stocking locations are monitored for expiration of product and integrity of sterility. Responsible for tracking loan/borrowed equipment and supplies;

• Picks up return items following established guidelines. Performs daily par inventories counts, picks orders, confirms orders, and delivers supplies to assigned par areas. Provides feedback on par level adjustments to supply chain and clinical leadership.

• Ensures par areas are orderly, properly tagged and sufficiently stocked to meet customer needs.

• Properly disburses all materials to various locations in the facility as assigned in a timely manner following any established route and schedule. Special attention is given to refrigerated supplies and overnight packages.

• Maintains warehouse and other assigned areas in clean, safe and organized manner.

• Accurately completes the replenishment/picking process completing all associated computer software tasks to ensure accurate record keeping.

• Delivers supplies and packages to customers taking care to obtain location delivery information.

• Assists with updating item locations and labels associated with product conversions.

• Creating shipping mailing labels, maintaining records of incoming and outgoing shipments

• Responsible for the distribution of mail to all Campus locations.

• Oversees the mail distribution for the Keller Run, making sure staff person has all the correct documents, which may include checks, delivered to ACC Keller, Southhall and Southwood's buildings.

• Demonstrated ability to use an ERP system.

• Demonstrates knowledge of inventory, receiving, replenishment and par level concepts.

• Ability to operate material handling equipment.

• PeopleSoft Experience

• Experience with Adobe and Visio
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Proficient in use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, Visio and other software packages

• Ability to manage and organize tasks for success

• A minimum of two years customer service experience

• Three years related supply experience, demonstrate competence in a variety of functions related to the evaluation, procurement, and supply chain distribution and logistical support in a clinical patient care setting.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

• Associate Degree in business or related field

• Ability to manage and organize tasks for success

• A minimum of two years customer service experience
