This pivotal role bridges the gap between supply chain professionals, health care providers, and tech experts across Michigan's expansive health system to drive operational success through technology use, including our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) strategy.
In this collaborative environment, you'll work closely with supply chain leaders to make sure our tech strategies are in sync with our organizational goals. Your leadership will guide a team of analysts to maximize our technology investments through well-defined projects and programs.
Your mission is to guarantee prompt and effective support for all supply chain tech needs. Additionally, you'll partner with both operational staff and clinical teams to set system goals and manage projects that enhance our technological capabilities.

Team Leadership for Business Systems Analysts:
- Oversee and mentor a team focused on optimizing systems to enhance supply chain operations.
- Foster an environment of continuous improvement, addressing business challenges through technology.
Strategic Planning Contribution:
- Help guide the strategic planning process, ensuring supply chain information systems are configured and effectively utilized.
- Collaborate with different departments to develop and implement supply chain strategies.

Required Qualifications*
- Bachelor's or master's degree in relevant field.
- 3-5 years managing systems or operational teams with demonstrated experience in process optimization.
- 5 to 7 years of experience with ERP, Supply Chain technologies, or EHR data systems including business intelligence, system configuration, or system testing activities.
- Expertise with Excel, Word, Visio, Access, MS Project, business intelligence tools and other support tools to perform job functions.
- Significant experience developing flow charts, business process maps, standard work instructions, and system testing requirements and scenarios.
- Demonstrated proficient knowledge of principles, practices, standards, technologies, and procedures related to competent business systems analysis and supply chain functions including adapting to new documentation standards.
- Demonstrated ability to formulate, interpret, or recommend operating practices, methods of process, and systems design.
- Demonstrate leadership and communication abilities.
- Demonstrate ability to advocate and lead cross functional teams and user through major technology changes ensuring user adoption.
- Demonstrated curiosity and innovation in solving customer problems.
- Demonstrated knowledge of all phases of software development lifecycle.
- Demonstrated curiosity and innovation in solving customer problems using technology.
Desired Qualifications*
- 5 years of experience in health care supply chain environment.
- Experience with RPA, AI, and other tools to support smart automation of business processes and functions.
- Experience with PeopleSoft, Workday, Oracle Supply Chain Management, Infor systems especially Inventory and Supply Chain Management.
- Experience working in and exploiting use of connection technologies to external suppliers.
- Experience working in and exploiting use of mobile inventory applications.
- Reasonable knowledge of University of Michigan?s and Michigan Medicine?s business functions.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and project management skills.
