Job Description
Cape Fox Federal Integrators is seeking an experienced Supply Technician. This position will support the Program Manager in the execution of the RPA SOC Program. As directed by the Warehouse Manager, the Supply Technician performs a variety of warehousing duties in accordance with the established storage plan. This position performs limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities. Working knowledge of the WASP inventory management system will be a primary area of responsibility. Work can involve the following tasks: verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages, routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods, rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials, examining stored materials, and reporting deterioration and damage, removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment. The Supply Technician will be able to operate hand or power trucks, forklifts, and scissor lifts in performing warehouse duties.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Dock Operations
Unload trucks by hand or by using material handling equipment (i.e. forklifts, pallet jacks)
Inspect material for damage
Reviews manifests, packing lists, and other documentation to ensure material is correctly addressed, labeled, and that the correct number of boxes are received
Contacts Material Coordinator regarding any damaged or suspicious materials received
Verifies contents of materials received against packing lists and vendor manifests
Print asset identification label before moving into stock (WASP only)
Scan packing list(s) to Material manager/PMO office for order ID verification
Update both ALMSS and WASP inventory systems from manifests and packing lists
Resolves discrepancies by contacting vendors, customers, and/or shippers
Segregates and stages material based on final disposition (i.e. packing, stock, or cross dock)
Ensure all equipment that arrive and require testing is immediately done so by the IT team
Pull items from warehouse inventory based upon 1348-1, A2A shipping document, requirements or direction of the PMO
Move items within the WASP mobile asset tracking system
Verify priority of shipments to dictate mode of transportation using FEDEX Express or FEDEX Freight accounts; always monitor shipping costs
Prepare property for shipping by verifying container stability, weight, dimensions, etc.
Coordinate with FEDEX to validate shipping requirements as needed
Load FEDEX tracking numbers to COTS database and email tracking information to all customers
Using material handling equipment as required, loads materials onto trucks in accordance with weight distribution guidelines and limitations
Stock Management
Prints customer initiated 1348-1's from the computer database and verifies the location of the item
Retrieves material utilizing material handling equipment as necessary
Updates ALMSS/COTS/WASP database to record that the order has been filled, entering the destination, number of pieces picked, etc.
Moves material to appropriate transition point within WASP (i.e. packing or onward transportation)
Updates stock inventory database, confirming stock and allocation numbers
Determines if incoming material is for stock (inventoried) or bulk storage
Consolidates loose items whenever possible
Determines storage location based on size, stock number, and customer requirements
Create identification labels for items (WASP only)
Places material in selected area, utilizing material handling equipment as necessary; scan item for asset movement and tracking
Updates stock inventory database with material quantity and location
Conducts continuous inventories on all stock items
Inspects both incoming and outgoing items to ensure asset integrity
Use best packaging methods to ensure the safe delivery of items
Inventories high dollar value items on a frequent basis; ensure these items are serialized control and items are annotated in COTS and WASP
Verifies all stock activity (i.e. receipts, shipments and issue requests)
Examines storage areas to ensure correct labeling and adherence to safety standards
Pre-travel requires staging and kitting for new or refresh site installs
Ensure travel mode, hotel and rental car reservations are validated before travel
Inventory and organize large numbers of pallets in preparation for large shipping loads
Conduct site evaluations to obtain logistic information from the gaining unit before equipment arrives for the install
Perform joint inventories with customers at the gaining location; conduct more training with customers if necessary
Assist install team by maintaining 100% accountability of equipment during Phase 1 of the install and assist with the other IT equipment as necessary
Return to install locations to prepare equipment and tools for return to home station
Contact government equipment specialist representative for damaged, unserviceable, or out of date items for proper disposal
Print asset reports to support annual, cycle or as-required inventory requirements
Populate WASP database with all pertinent information to support complete asset inquiries

Education and/or Experience
Completion of high school or vocational school, a GED certificate or the equivalent
3-5 years of wholesale distribution experience preferred
Currently holds a Secret security clearance
Ability to obtain a TS/SCI (desired)
Forklift and scissor lift experience desired
Ability to obtain considerable knowledge of Customer and Logistics policies and regulations that pertain to storage, shipping and handling of various materials
Ability to obtain considerable knowledge of cover and how it pertains to warehouse operations
Working knowledge of Windows-based computer applications
Ability to obtain a working knowledge of Working Capital Fund business operating procedures
Good interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
Ability to operate various material handling equipment in accordance with safety requirements and procedures
Ability to safely move materials of various sizes and weights throughout the warehouse and onto and off of trucks. Materials may include crates, furniture, electronic, HAZMAT, lumber, vehicles, 55-gallon drums, and military items
Ability to exercise good judgement in decision making and to be creative in problem solving (e.g. maximize space, handle the wide range of materials received, deal with multiple customers and priorities, and resolve inventory discrepancies
Ability to read and understand manifests and other documents
Ability to maintain accurate records
Ability to work well in a team environment
Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance in accordance with customer regulations
Strong written and oral communication skills, organizational skills and attention to detail
Self-motivated with minimal oversight
Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
