You will also have access to our comprehensive benefits and competitive pay in addition to growth opportunities and excellent retirement options.Job Summary:RiverTech is looking for a Supply Technician to work at Quantico, VA.ResponsibilitiesJob Responsibilities:This position performs limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities. Work usually is segregated by commodity area or function, and controlled in terms of difficulty, complexity, or responsibility. Assignments usually relate to stable or standardized segments of technical supply management operations; or to functions or subjects that are narrow in scope or limited in difficulty. The work generally involves individual case problems or supply actions. This work may require consideration of program requirements together with specific variations in or from standardized guidelines. Assignments require: (a) a good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines; (b) an understanding of the needs of the organization serviced; and (c) analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines. Specifically, this position will execute some or all of the tasks outlined below.
  • Receives, packs, processes and manages incoming/outgoing official mail in accordance with written procedures in the Desk Top Reference Guide, the DCSA Customer Service Guide, and Official Mail Security Guide.
  • Monitors the Office Supplies inbox in ServicedNow daily and respond/act on requests within 1 business day of receipt.
  • Receives, processes, packs and manages incoming/outgoing FEDEX and UPS parcels/flats in accordance with written procedures in the Desk Top Reference Guide, the DCSA Customer Service Guide, and Official Mail Security Guide.
  • Picks-up incoming FEDEX parcels/flats, official mail, certified and COMSEC items twice daily from RKB Mail Room, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays), notify, and/or deliver to customers within 24 hours.
  • Research and prints FEDEX and UPS bills from the applicable provider websites biweekly IAW the Desk Top Reference. The contractor shall reconcile and validate the FEDEX bills with actual shipments and submit to the responsible LMD Branch Chief, for review, signature and submission for payment.
  • Picks-up and deliver courier service requirements for DCSA at the Pentagon and other locations in the NCR.
  • Manages supply issue point ensuring adequate on-hand inventory.
  • As required, create shopping cart in GSA Global Supply or Ability One web site and forward to Government POC to initiate the purchase.
  • Assists the RKB DCSA Warehouse Manager with keeping DCSA's warehouse space organized.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience managing government supply programs, shipping and receiving, warehousing and postal operations.
  • Top Secret clearance is required
  • Current and valid driver's license is required
