Patient Registration:
Collect and accurately record patient demographic and insurance information.
Ensure all required forms and documents are completed and signed by the patient.

Insurance Verification:
Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for new patients.
Communicate insurance-related information to patients, including co-pays and deductible amounts.

Scheduling:
Schedule appointments for new patients, coordinating with medical staff and providers.
Manage appointment calendars to optimize patient flow and minimize wait times.

Documentation and Data Entry:
Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records (EHR) for new patients.
Enter patient information, medical history, and other relevant data into the EHR system.

Communication:
Communicate effectively with patients, addressing inquiries and providing information on clinic procedures and policies.
Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure a smooth patient intake process.

Problem Resolution:
Address patient concerns or issues related to the intake process promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with supervisors to resolve complex issues or discrepancies.

Compliance:
Adhere to all healthcare regulations, privacy laws, and compliance standards when handling patient information.
Stay updated on industry changes and regulations relevant to patient intake.

Must Have:
High school diploma ;relevant college coursework is a plus.
Prior experience in a healthcare or medical office setting preferred.
Strong computer skills and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Applicants must have the ability to proficiently perform new patient intake procedures.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Knowledge of insurance verification and billing processes is advantageous.
