Key Responsibilities:

The Baggage Tracing Support Representative handles receiving bags at the warehouse, shelving, scanning and inventorying the bags. When performing tracing, Representative works with the passenger and their claim form to locate the missing bag. If found - bag is set up for shipment and delivery. Representative is also trained to work with left on board items - receiving boxes, researching in Charger-back and setting up payments for delivery. Once a week, Representative loads the 18 wheeler with bags and boxes to be sent to salvage. This job requires attention to detail, high integrity, customer service skills and punctual attendance. Responsible for offshore training and support. This role requires individuals to work non-standard hours such as overtime to support peak volumes but does not require work on holidays. This role will also support the Central Baggage Tracing operation seven days a week.

Qualifications

What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of work experience
  • Be able to work flexible hours which can include, days, nights, overnights, holidays, and weekends. Overtime as needed.
  • Must be able to lift 70 lbs. repeatedly
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position


What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Associate degree
  • 1+ year of experience in logistics or airport operations or similar
  • Knowledge of airport operations/ramp work preferred
  • Bilingual
