Job Summary

Works under general supervision to monitor Par level replenishment and receiving for our Endo and Suture areas.

Experience and Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Two years of experience in a Hospital Inventory Distribution and receiving environment is required.
Job Duties
  • Supervise incoming shipments of supplies • Communicate shipping/receiving errors to department leadership
  • Supervises daily inventory par levels
  • Communicates with OR staff when notification of back orders occur • Assists with data entry related to requisitions and supply orders
  • Maintain proper labeling of storage locations
  • Promptly identifies and evaluates slow moving as well as excess stock
  • Promptly identifies expired product and log as required
  • Ensure Supply Needs List is complete prior to end of shift
  • Supervises the replenishment of Endo and Surgical core areas of assigned area using FIFO rotation
  • Pick Surgical cases as requested
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
  • Work requires use of a PC, handheld scanning device, fax, and copiers
  • Work requires proper phone etiquette and the ability to repeat back request
  • Work requires general knowledge of healthcare related policies.
Working Conditions

Work is performed primarily in a hospital or hospital clinic environment. Walking, standing, bending, turning and stooping.

Any qualifications to be considered as equivalents in lieu of stated minimum require prior approval of Vice President for Human Resources Administration or his/her designee.
