Compensation :
Pay Range: $20.30 - 33.00 / hour.

Job Description :
To scrub and assist surgical team during basic surgical procedures. To prepare and maintain the environment, medical equipment and supplies for surgical procedures. To follow hospital regulations and industry procedures regarding patient care. To pre-operatively prepare patient. To transport patient to and from the operating room as required .

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited program of surgical technology recognized by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) required OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE. Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required or should be obtained within 30 days of employment. Depending on the unit/department, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) may be required .
