Our state-of-the-art facility was established in the Fall of 2016 and has been fully operational since January 2017. With two extra-large operating suites and one large procedure room equipped with advanced surgical technology, we strive to deliver outstanding care to our patients.

Lancaster Specialty Surgery Center, located in Lancaster, Ohio, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Clinical Leader. As the Clinical Leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operations and exceptional quality of our outpatient surgical facility.

Surgical Technologist at Lancaster Specialty Surgery Center

The Surgical Technologist, the primary responsibility of this position is to assist in providing nursing care of the surgical patient in the O.R. suite.

Ideal candidate will be focused on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi-task, the ability to show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies and have the ability to work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.

Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings required. Competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate.

Qualifications:
  • Must be a High School graduate or have completed a GED course.
  • Successful completion of Surgical Technologist course.
  • Have a basic knowledge of surgical techniques.
  • Assist in providing care for the surgical patient
  • General familiarity with medical terminology as it pertains to anatomy and surgical procedures for an operating room
