Advanced Practice Provider Surgical Transplant Full Time

Piedmont is recruiting for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our leading transplant team. This is a full-time position completing inpatient rounds on pre/post op transplant patients as well as 1 st assist duties in the OR. This position includes variable weekends, holidays and 24/7 call rotation. Cases include open, laparoscopic and robotic approaches at Piedmont Transplant located in at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in the heart of Midtown/Buckhead.

In this role you will:

Augment the physicians ability to provide inpatient and surgical medical services to pre and post-operative liver, kidney, and pancreas transplant patients and patients with hepatobiliary disorders.

Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications:

2 years of work experience as an advanced practice provider working in an inpatient and OR assist role.

Minimum Education/Licensure Required:

PA: Graduate of a Physician Assistants program with current license for the Georgia State Composite Board and Licensure as a Physician's Assistant by the National Board of Medical Examiners

NP: Graduate from a school of nursing with current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing and a Masters degree in Nursing
