The MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (MSEIT) effort provides
leading edge Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) for the Air Force's Space and
Missiles System Center. We support the Air Force's acquisition of state of the art
Military Satellite Communications systems, providing global secure, survivable, and
protected communications for our nation's warfighters. We seek technical individuals
who will thrive in a highly collaborative work environment of small teams, using the
most modern tools and methodologies to tackle the challenges of integrating complex
space and ground communications systems.

Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
- Design, plan, coordinate, execute testing and provide terminal operations on the
Family of Beyond Line-of-Sight Terminals (FAB-T), Air Force Command Post Terminal (AFCPT), Time Distribution Subsystem Pre Processor (TDSPP), Milstar Messaging System (MMS), Global Broadcast Service (GBS), Ground Multi-band Terminal (GMT), Mission Planning Subsystem (MPSS), various other systems, subsystems and MILSATCOM devices. - Provide engineering and technician-level support for each of the above systems,
including integration, communication circuit troubleshooting, and system-level
anomaly resolution. - Identify and isolate software or hardware defects to evaluate/assess system
modifications for shortfalls or interoperability issues and provide technical
assessments to the client with regards to the modifications. - Author and deliver technical documentation including test plans, test procedures,
system configuration diagrams, engineering studies, technical white papers, and
test reports.
- 3+ years of experience with DoD/USAF test processes and documentation.
- 3+ years of experience with MILSATCOM systems, associated hardware, and
troubleshooting. - 3+ years of experience working with military or DoD civilian clients and managing professional relationships.
- Excellent written, verbal communications and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of DoD mission system sustainment.
- Must be a motivated, self-starter capable of autonomous on-the-job learning/improvement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Operational Test experience supporting a DoD Operational Test Agency or
Organization. - 3+ years of experience working with military or DoD civilian clients and managing professional relationships.
- 5+ years of experience with MILSATCOM equipment and troubleshooting.
- 3+ years of experience handling Communications Security (COMSEC) materials
and devices. - Specific experience operating or maintaining the following: FAB-T, AFCPT,
TDSPP, MMS, GMT, GBS Receive Suites, cryptographic equipment (e.g., KIV-
7M, ANDVT, KGV-11, KG-250), or related infrastructure and/or support
equipment. - Experience with working in a highly competitive multi-contractor environment.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science, or
equivalent technical discipline.
- International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) Certification (i.e.
ASEP, CSEP, ESEP).
- Active DoD Secret clearance is required to start.
- TS/SCI clearance (desired).
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
