Key Qualifications
5+ years of experience in software development

Proficient in Objective-C, Swift, UIKit and CoreAnimation fundamentals

Passion for clean and well-layered architecture

Strong engineering and debugging skills and an excellent grasp of OS fundamentals, ability to craft elegant and concise APIs

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed to facilitate close interaction with development teams, management, project management, and other organizations within Apple

Description
The UIKit framework provides a wide range of functionality and is used in every single iPhone and iPad application. It encompasses touch and event handling, animations, views, windows, controls, and higher level components such as UITableView and UICollectionView. Your responsibilities will include working closely with the HI design team on new UI concepts and adding features to existing components that complement the future iterations of iPad and iPhone hardware. In addition, you will work cross-functionally with many application developers inside Apple to define the next set of UIKit features and corresponding APIs.

Education & Experience
Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent

Additional Requirements

• - Understanding of optimization and performance issues across OS software layers
• - Some experience with SwiftUI
