Title: System Integration/Test Engineer
Location: Mountain View, CA
Duration: 12-month contract to start
Compensation: $60-70/hour
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

As a System Integration/Test Engineer, you will be responsible for developing tests that provide coverage of deployment and commissioning of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). You will work closely with our Hardware, Systems and Software teams to ensure functionality, reliability, and interoperability of our roadway infrastructure platform.
We are looking for an individual that is passionate about the future of roads, who is willing to think creatively, and is ready to roll up their sleeves and do the work necessary to help build and deploy the client's next set of projects.

Roles/Responsibilities:

• Author and maintain system integration test suite and test applications.
• Lead field test procedure documentation and ensure technicians have the right resources to perform tests.
• Maintain system integration test database and dashboards. Support cross-functional reporting and access to data.
• Aid with test case definitions and FFMEA creation/review/release.
• Support system level validation of hardware design changes and firmware updates.
• Develop tooling and applications to support the calibration of ITS sensors.
• During deployment, troubleshoot and diagnose test anomalies and lead field triage process.
• Aid with development of ITS node management system and automated failure detection/reporting.

Additional Skills/Requirements:

• Bachelor's of Science or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or other relevant Engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of hands-on industry experience, preferably in a consumer electronics environment.
• Intermediate or higher proficiency in:
• Linux command line interface (CLI) and embedded development.
• Python and bash scripting.
• Upload and management of data sets in GCP PostgreSQL or other managed database service.
• Experience with processor peripheral interfaces (PCIe, USB, I2C, CAN, SPI, storage, high speed serial).
• Understanding of DHCP, Static IP's and common network routing protocols (distance vector, link state, path vector).
• Hands on experience with test equipment including scopes, network analyzers, multi-meters, etc.
• Work onsite for deployments and travel (30%).
