System Operator

Insight Global's renewable energy client is looking for a System Operator to join their team. This person should have experience operating computerized switchboards and auxiliary equipment in a Control Center/Room. This person will need to comply with safety procedures, SOPs, and regulatory licenses while also implementing hydro generation production schedules.

Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of experience as a System Operator in a control room
- Knowledge of electrical power generation
- Electrical experience (work or school)
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication both verbal and written
- Willingness to occasionally travel

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with operating the SCADA system
- Experience in hydro and steam station operations, safety, and compliance
- Experience in electrical generation
