In this position, the team members will be trained in the duties of database administration. This support role provides valued services both on-prem and in our cloud environment. The focus of this position is on SQL Server, but once you are ready to explore other support opportunities, we do have other DBMS software solutions. An organized, detail-oriented work ethic is a must. High-level types of work include installs and upgrades of the software, performance tuning, database design, database monitoring, and data security. Qualified team members working at this level should have a strong desire to learn. This position is with the Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division (OA-ITSD) supporting the State Data Center (SDC).
