You will also have access to our comprehensive benefits and competitive pay in addition to growth opportunities and excellent retirement options.*Job Summary: *Our successful candidate will perform all Systems Administrator duties providing direct support to enterprise networked systems and managing Microsoft server infrastructure solutions across multiple solution areas in a DoD enterprise environment.ResponsibilitiesJob Responsibilities:
  • Installandmaintainservers, workstations, desktops, laptops, and basic cabling, etc.
  • Maintainsystems architecture across multiple networks andlocations
  • Install, administer,andmaintainvirtualandphysicalhosts
  • Administer Active Directory users anddevices
  • Integratenew technologiesinto new and existingsystems
  • Transition and migrationof enterprisesystems
  • Determineisolation and resolution of complex hardware and softwareproblems
  • Perform account maintenance, data integrity, and file systemsecurity
  • Utilize manual checks, GUI-based, and command line tools (PowerShell) to troubleshoot and remediate basic to complex systems hardware, software, and configurationissues
  • Implement, and manage disaster recovery and COOP plans, systems, andoperations
  • Basic network troubleshooting in support of the datacenter and workstation/LAN connectivity
  • Collect, review, and store server log files toidentifyand remediate systemissues
  • Document system configurations and propose and/or implement systemchanges
  • Apply security patches, IAVAs, STIGS, and updates (including operating system updates)
  • Assist Service Desk technicians as needed with Tier I and Tier IItroubleshooting
  • Patching of desktop systems, software,printer issues, and server related issues asneeded
  • Participate in or lead special projects and day-to-day operationsasassigned by the sitelead
  • Clearly communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel
  • Mentor, lead, and train junior technicians asdirected
Qualifications*Minimum Qualifications: *
  • High School diploma/GED
  • Active DOD TS/SCI (as recorded in DISS)
  • CurrentlypossessDoD 8570.1-M IAT Level II
  • CurrentlypossessaComputing Environmentcertification
  • MCSAServer2016 or Microsoft Azureadministrator
  • Or must be obtained within 90 days of startdate
  • Ability tofrequentlylift, carry, andmove equipment(up to 25lbs.)
  • Knowledge of ITIL v3 processes
*Desired Qualifications: *
  • ITIL v3 (or greater)certification
  • MCSA or MCSEWindows 10(or greater)certification.
  • Experience working in an IT service deskenvironment.
  • Experienceworkingwith enterprise-level ITdevices.
  • SAN, NAS, Webservers/SQL, HBSS, or ACAS.
  • Experienceworkingwith IT Service Management ticketingsoftware.
  • SCSM, ServiceNow.
  • Abilityto complete difficult and complex assignmentsindependently.
  • Ability to provide over the phone troubleshootinginstructions tocustomers.
  • Must have a valid driver's license; supports several locations on Fort Belvoir.
