Systems Design Verification Engineer Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with hardware engineering and technology teams to understand product design requirements and define verification requirements while developing test systems.

  • Maintain, enhance, and expand existing test infrastructure to contribute to the development of new functionalities.

  • Define and document API functions to integrate networking functionality within the system firmware.

  • Engage with various stakeholders across teams and disciplines to gather requirements and deliver targeted solutions.

  • Lead real-time testing efforts, ensuring thorough verification of system designs.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to verify the stability of software, firmware, and hardware, ensuring proper handling of hardware components.


Minimum Qualifications


  • Requires a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Math, Physics, or a related field and three years of experience in the job offered or a computer-related occupation. Requires three years of experience in the following:

  • 1. Troubleshooting hardware issues on System on Chip (SoC) and Microcontroller Unit (MCU) platforms

  • 2. Programming in at least one of the following industry standard languages: C, C++, or Python

  • 3. Developing MCUs, Embedded Linux, or Embedded Android (AOSP)

  • 4. Firmware verification with a focus on hardware interactions

  • 5. Owning a substantial aspect of verification requirements and development of test systems

  • 6. Working in a highly visible and hands-on problem-solving environment

  • 7. Navigating the design verification process from end to end across multiple projects, including from the development of test architecture to detailed execution.
