Job Summary
This role is responsible for the provisioning, deploying, administering, monitoring, maintaining, troubleshooting, upgrading, and patching of Information Technology resources and services, with a specialized focus on Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) for the Precision BrainHealth Application. The Systems Engineer III - Machine Learning Operations & Automation will develop, deploy, and integrate complex software and application solutions to support a variety of research and business objectives, including auto-scoring cognitive assessments. This includes managing and optimizing machine learning models in production, ensuring their scalability and reliability across cloud computing platforms, especially AWS . The position requires a combination of data science background, strong computer science fundamentals, and an aptitude to apply cutting-edge technologies at scale.

Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree with four (4) years related experience OR Associate degree with six (6) related experience OR High School or equivalent with eight (8) years related experience.

Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience in provisioning, deploying, administering, and maintaining IT resources, with a focus on automation and machine learning operations. Proficient in Python, Jupyter Notebook, Docker, GraphQL, RESTful web API principles, RDMS , NoSQL databases, and cloud computing platforms, especially AWS . Strong background in data science and computer science fundamentals. Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills. Experience working as part of an application development team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop, deploy, and manage machine learning solutions and automated metrics for the Precision BrainHealth Application, ensuring their reliability and scalability. Provision, monitor, and maintain IT resources and services, focusing on automation and machine learning applications. Document complex processes, procedures, system configurations, and specifications related to machine learning operations and automation. Collaborate closely with data scientists and development teams to integrate and auto-score cognitive assessments for the Precision BrainHealth Application.
Mentor junior engineers and manage small teams and projects related to machine learning and IT automation. Exhibit strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the capability to leverage advanced technical competencies in both systems engineering and machine learning.
