We are looking for Windows Systems Engineers to join our technology based program supporting a key government customer in a fast paced, challenging, and career rewarding experience. The program delivers Enterprise Computing engineering services with modern technology solutions wiht that function both on customer premise and via remote Cloud services. As a mission focused Systems Engineer that solves problems on the program, you will be expected to: Recognize the issue(s), identify the facts, define additional data that would be helpful, make assumptions as necessary, determine althernative approaches, evaluate alternatives, make recommendations, alter assumptions and rework solutions, and reflect on lessons learned.

The Windows Engineer will support multiple domains with a 1000+ users load on each network. Duties will include user account management, installation and configuration of servers and software, scripting, upgrade management, Tier3 and Tier 4 O&M troubleshooting, user and file data management/migrations, responsible for troubleshooting server network and system issues. The candidate must show the ability to identify complex problems, document, and clearly articulate option of resolution to the customer. This is a complex and widely heterogeneous IT environment requiring engineering solutions for physical and virtual environments, with a goal to responsibly virtualize system s that are compatible for cloud environment services. The successful candidate will need to be a proactive self-starter requiring minimal supervision who can monitor existing infrastructure, identify and coordinate implementation changes to address problems or engineering changes with little to no impact to the end users. The candidate will be responsible for managing the customer's patch deployment infrastructure across multiple domains as well as training both customer and contractor personnel in the process. The candidate will play a vital role in researching and engineering a new system to manage the distribution of updates and hotfixes across domains."

Required Skills:

MCSE/MCITP

Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) knowledge and hands on experience/expertise across various enclaved environments

Demonstrate Tier 3, and Tier4 troubleshooting skills

Demonstrate expert experience with Server OS 2012R2, 2016, 2019

Expert knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP

Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and experience with cloud technologies VMware4.5 -Sx, Microsoft

Microsoft Hyper-V 2008 and 2012R2

Microsoft data protection manager 2010 and higher

Experience with scripting in PowerShell, VB, C#

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute task

Candidate must be able to work independently or with a team

Candidate must have the ability to adjust and learn new technologies

Experience writing enterprise level technical standards documentation and diagrams

Strong Customer service skills

Microsoft Azzure Pack

Understanding of Enterprise Networking best practices

Citrix 4.5-6.5 skills in XenApp aka Presentation Server and VDI

Lab Management Skills

Linux/Unix Skills

Centrify engineering and management
