Medical Billing - Systems- Systems Support Specialist

JOB SUMMARY

The Medical Billing - Systems Support Specialist will support the Revenue Cycle Department for Global Medical Response (GMR). They will serve as a liaison between Revenue Cycle and GMR IT. As a Systems Support Specialist, they will be responsible for providing helpdesk support, provisioning access to our primary work programs, assist with projects, and all duties as assigned by Revenue Cycle leadership. They must be able to work as a strong member of a small team to support more than 400 employees, working remotely in and in office.

DUTIES

• On call after hours and weekends, no less than one (1) week per month.

• Provide helpdesk support via monitoring incoming communications using multiple platforms.

• Data entry projects, access provisioning, inventory management, equipment support, and other duties as assigned.

• Work to achieve team and departmental goals.

• Work effectively as a member of a team.

• Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Experience

• Intermediate to advances computer skills.

• Must have experience in person computers, printers, other peripheral equipment, Microsoft products, and other applicable software.

• Have ability to work with people in a support role.

• Advanced trouble shooting and multitasking skills.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of one (1) year in healthcare billing experience with an emphasis in the Respond Billing application

• Ability to take direction, work well as part of a team, and work independently when needed.

• Strong interpersonal and communication capabilities through customer service.

• Ability to adapt in the workplace can keep up with moving priorities, projects, clients, and technology.

Required Education

• High School diploma or equivalent

Required Skills

• Ability to define and identify problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

• Ability to respond to inquires or complaints from customers in a positive and productive manner

• Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports

• Ability to use independent judgment and to manage and manage confidential information

• Ability to prepare routine administration
