JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for staffing the 7x24 command center to ensure operational availability of systems, networks, and applications. Monitors the data center environment to ensure the availability of all business applications

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provides operation support for the 7x24 enterprise data center. Communicates and escalates issues as required and follow through to ensure system resolution

2. Monitors, identifies and supports the resolution of hardware and software problems. Coordinates as necessary with technical staff and vendor personnel.

3. Provides help desk support and escalation of system issues.

4. Ensures the timely and accurate completion of all EDI batch processing.

5. Provides help desk support to both internal staff and customers.

6. Possesses a working knowledge of UNIX and Windows operations systems

7. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.

8. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.

9. Demonstrate Company's Competencies and Core values held within.

JOB SCOPE:

The Incumbent relies on judgment and experience to complete job responsibilities. The incumbent possesses and applies a range of technical knowledge and executes procedures to support 24x7 data center operations. The incumbent must be able to make decisions and escalate issues when needed to other technical groups. Work is varied and sometimes complex.

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):

• Minimum High school diploma or equivalent is required

• Associates degree in computer science, business administration or related work experience desired

• Minimum 2 years of Information Technology operations experience

• Automated job scheduling desired

• Processing in an AIX environment desired

• Working in a multi-processing environment desired

• Required licensures, professional certifications, and/or Board certifications as applicable

• Knowledge of Unix and Windows

• Communication (written, verbal and listening), planning, organizing, analytical, problem solving, time management and customer service skills

• Ability to support 7X24 on-call rotation

• Ability to use software and hardware peripherals related to job responsibilities

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $25 to $30 hourly. Specific offers take into account a candidate's education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate's work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
