What you'll do:

The Systems Training Specialist will be responsible for the coordination and/or delivery of systems training for a specific line of business for patient accounting-related applications including revision/development of applicable documentation. Training will impact facility, regional and support users across multiple buildings/locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates knowledge of existing and/or new financial systems for specified line of business.
  • Obtains attendee rosters, organizes course agendas, and communicates arrangements to all appropriate parties. Ensures training hardware and environment are appropriately configured for training sessions.
  • Validates accuracy of training materials to coincide with system functionality, which includes system enhancements to meet the expectations of the targeted audience and their work environment.
  • Delivers high quality system training through multiple learning methods, such as instructor-led or recorded/live distance learning.
  • Tracks completion of end user training courses and reports results to Project Manager and Divisional managers.
  • Provides feedback for training materials based on training evaluations. In turn, assists in the development of the end user training documentation in conjunction with the application support staff.
  • Provides post-training follow-up support to end users prior to hand-off to Customer Support.
  • Contributes to and supports additional project-related responsibilities as they arise.

EDUCATION:

  • Associate's Degree preferred, or comparable experience in related field.


EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 3 year's experience in system training in healthcare/patient accounting environment.
