The Talent Acquisition Business Consultant plays an integral role in developing, implementing, and managing effective recruiting programs that attract top diverse talent to our organization. This role works closely with various stakeholders to ensure our recruiting processes are aligned with our strategic goals. The role provides expertise in tailored, forward-thinking, and critical work to help design, launch, and execute programs that support our workforce initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Provide subject matter expertise in recruitment program management and data analysis that contributes to the effective accomplishment of Corporate initiatives and goals. Leads recruiting projects in collaboration with our TA teams, related to the development and implementation of strategies through data analysis, report generation, project tracking, and communication. Works closely with TA leadership to understand business needs and influences HR & Business leaders to adopt a strategic approach for attracting diverse talent. Proactively identify ways, means, and platforms to build and expand recruitment programs.

  • Establish, nurture, and own relationships with external organizations, networks, and educational institutions to expand the organizations access to diverse talent pools. Represent CareFirst at diversity recruiting events, networking events, and community outreach programs. Promote CareFirsts employer brand and values to attract great talent. Build trusted relationships within CareFirst to deepen subject-matter expertise, find opportunities to synchronize with core operations, and engage leaders participation in recruiting program initiatives. Provide resources and support to hiring teams on best practices for inclusive hiring. Communicating strategy, programs, and next steps to leadership and our partners.

  • Design and run dashboards to support clear communication across the organization. Collect and analyze data, metrics, and reports to measure the effectiveness of diverse recruitment initiatives, track progress, discover trends and post-program impact for strategic decision-making. Continuously evaluate and support task coordination while identifying potential process improvements. Stay current with industry trends and best practices and implement innovative solutions to enhance our programs.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education Level: Bachelor's Degree or in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.

    Experience: 5 years' experience in Talent Acquisition, Diversity Recruiting, Human Resources Program Management, or related field.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Experience managing Military Veteran Recruiting Programs/Initiatives

  • Proven ability to collaborate, build relationships, and influence across all levels of an organization, as well as with external stakeholders.
  • Must be able to meet established deadlines and manage shifting priorities and multiple projects/programs simultaneously, while providing excellent customer service to internal and external partners.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication with ability to develop impactful presentations and articulate strategies clearly.
  • Follows evolving market, industry and workforce trends.
  • Significant experience with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

    Salary Range: $87,480 - $173,745
