The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for attracting, assessing, and hiring diverse talent to Hilti North America (HNA) to meet the business' needs. Talent Acquisition Partners work with HR leaders and hiring managers on strategic and tactical recruitment strategies and ensure a best-in-class candidate experience for all applicants, regardless of outcome. The role is a true business partner, bringing market insights to stakeholders and with a delivery-focused mindset throughout.

What does the role involve?

  • Manage assigned requisitions through the full recruitment lifecycle - creation, alignment, posting, assessment, interview and offer - maintaining updated documentation in the applicant tracking system (ATS) as a primary system of record, in conjunction with other HR Information Systems (HCM, CRM).
  • Conduct thorough alignment meetings with hiring managers on requisitions and proactive assignments, asking the right questions to understand hiring manager needs and translating them into an assessment and search strategy.
  • Review applications in a timely manner, conducting in-depth screenings of candidates, in accordance with the hiring manager alignment, maintaining a high degree of professionalism and ensuring fairness, limitation of bias, and taking a strengths-based approach, in line with Hiring the Best People principles.
  • Develop and execute effective talent sourcing strategies for assigned requisitions as needed to ensure a high quality, diverse applicant pool.
  • Collaborate across the business, Talent Acquisition and HR ecosystem in service of fulfilling hiring goals efficiently and with a high level of quality, including talent attraction, talent sourcing, university recruiting and other areas of HR.
  • Partner with the hiring manager as their guide to the hiring process, providing insight and support while striving to ensure an unbiased, quality candidate experience, and escalating challenges to HR and TA leadership as necessary.
  • Facilitate the offer process for selected candidates, serving as an advocate for both the candidate's and Hilti's interests according to required processes and approvals, communicating to relevant parties.
  • Understand your functional and geographical market, sharing insights and recommendations to TA leadership to help ensure Hilti remains competitive in the talent landscape.
  • Serve as an ambassador for Hilti's employer brand on relevant career-oriented social and sourcing platforms, building confidence in our employer value proposition (EVP) across various candidate and potential candidate interactions.
  • Work collaboratively and support the overall strategic initiatives and efforts of the Talent Acquisition department.
  • Strive to accomplish above responsibilities in alignment with assigned local and global KPIs.

What you need is:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, required.
  • Minimum four (4) years of end-to-end recruitment experience strongly preferred, or an equivalent total years of combined relevant HR, Hilti, or sales experience, required.
  • Possesses self-leadership skills to work independently with limited direction to achieve consistent results.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, sometimes competing, priorities and a high volume, always-on recruitment cycle.
  • Proven track record of attracting, assessing, maintaining, and hiring quality talent while maintaining a positive candidate experience.
  • Possesses a high level of expertise in Talent Acquisition to liaise between HR Business Partners and mid-level and senior management.
  • Possesses a continuous improvement mentality in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills and exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to maintain high levels of data quality to build insights that influence decision-making.
  • Demonstrates strong influencing skills in all directions and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience of driving a diverse candidate pipeline and the ability to champion this with hiring managers, including the ability to write inclusive job advertisements.
  • Outstanding organizational ability, attention to detail, and follow up.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English or French/English) skills, a plus.
  • Professional Certifications in Human Resources (PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP), a plus.
