Our Talent Acquisition Intern will support our corporate and/or plant recruitment teams at our headquarters in Waukesha, WI. We are seeking an individual who can commit to working a minimum of 24 hours per week during the school year and full time hours during summer 2021. As a Talent acquisition intern you will have the opportunity to assist with recruitment marketing and operations. In addition to recruiting, you will also have an opportunity to gain exposure to other facets of HR, including diversity initiatives, new hire onboarding/new hire orientation, learning and development, employment and diversity branding, and much more. In addition to the above you will have the opportunity to network with other interns, participate in fun intern events, and learn a lot through this experience!

What you will learn:

  • Learn about recruitment marketing and utilizing social media to attract viable talent
  • You will also work closely with recruiting team members to innovate on current research strategies for talent pooling, market mapping, and competitor analysis which will allow you to make an immediate impact.
  • You will learn about the Generac business groups, how talent needs are assessed, and will be a part of driving the recruiting process from the beginning to end as our talent acquisition teams work to attain critical talent.
  • Gain an understanding of the employment attraction and branding
  • Develop a working relationship with Generac's HR, Recruitment and Shared Services Teams


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program with an emphasis in a business related field and/or Human Resources


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Microsoft Office experience with strong aptitude in Excel.
  • Sophomore year status or higher.
  • Previous systems experience.
