The role you'll contribute:

The Talent and Performance Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating talent management and performance improvement initiatives for AdventHealth. The specialist will collaborate with leaders, managers, and employees to identify and address talent gaps, develop, and deliver learning solutions, and foster a culture of feedback and continuous improvement.

  • Conduct talent assessments and gap analyses to identify current and future talent needs and opportunities.
  • Design and deliver learning and development programs and interventions that align with the healthcare system's strategic goals and values.
  • Monitor and report on the key talent and performance metrics, trends, and best practices, providing insights and recommendations for talent optimization.
  • Facilitate performance management processes and tools, including goal setting, feedback, coaching, and recognition.
  • Support the implementation and evaluation of talent and performance metrics and dashboards.
  • Create toolkits and templates to support the market in deploying talent and performance management strategies.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in talent management and performance improvement.
  • Support the design, execution and evaluation of the talent and succession planning process, ensuring that the healthcare system has a robust pipeline of high-potential and diverse talent for current and future roles.
  • Execute the performance management strategy including overseeing optimal system performance, ensuring that the performance goals, feedback, coaching, and recognition are aligned with the organizational values and objectives.
  • Coordinate with the Leadership Institute and Learning team to develop and deliver development experiences for leaders and team members inclusive of workshops, coaching sessions, enhancing the leadership capabilities and competencies of the managers and employees.
  • Plans and develops agenda for key meetings by collaborating with members to synthesize and prioritize agenda items.
  • Tracks all commitments and project task work that are made during executive leadership meetings or project meetings and provides progress reports and updates to leadership.
  • Partners closely with the HR Strategic Planning Office, including Talent Communications, to facilitate adherence to deadlines, clarification of assignments, delegation selection and preparation for key People and Culture events.


Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
  • Talent Planning and Performance Management
  • Experience in strategic planning and communication.
  • Knowledge of change management and/or organizational behavior theory/experience
  • Proficient in project or program management


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
  • Master's degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration, Human Resources, or related field of study
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a health care setting
