We are seeking a learning and development professional to join our Talent Development team as a Talent Development Coordinator supporting the coordination, development, implementation, and monitoring, of Baird’s Global Investment Banking (GIB)development initiatives.

As part of Baird’s Human Resource department, this role reports to our Manager, GIB Talent Development and will work closely with the Global Investment Bank’s Director of Talent.

This is a hybrid opportunity with onsite days of Tues - Thurs. We are hiring for one position open to location of our headquarters in Milwaukee, WI OR Chicago, IL. There is required travel between these two offices.

As a Talent Development Coordinator, you will:

Workday Management
  • Responsible for tracking attendance and mass enrollment in Workday for Global Investment Banking trainings.
  • Creates course shells, programs, thumbnails, and affiliated content development for new course and offerings within Workday.
  • Writes all drafts course descriptions and identifies affiliated competencies for courses in Workday.
  • Trains all new Workday users on Global Investment Banking Workday best practices.
  • Serves as point of contact for HR European Workday team and partners regarding ongoing process improvements.
  • Liaison to Talent Development Apps team and shares on-going best practices and recommendations.
  • Attend global Community of Practice meetings and reports on best practices.


Performance Management
  • Supports Director of Talent with the testing and implementation of changes to performance management, systems, and reports for mid-year and year-end performance cycles.
  • Tracks report completion and distributes performance reports, and meeting scheduling for summer programming.


Development Programming
  • Execute on development strategy for the GIB development curriculum.
  • Supports the execution of the GIB Summer Internship Program and New Hire Training program.
  • Ownership of scheduling and planning all logistics and hospitality needed for GIB Talent Development sessions.


Logistics and Coordination
  • Selects menus, creates theme, and partners with GIB Conference Center and/or Events for event execution.
  • Responsible for tracking all event orders and invoices.
