Munich Re America Services (MRAS) is a shared service organization that delivers services to all Munich Re US P&C Companies and other group entities.

Responsibilities under minimal direction:
  • Partner with HR Business Partners to assess skill and performance gaps and deliver solutions for all business units at HSB.
  • Partner with other TM&D team members to design, develop and deliver proactive creative solutions that support the region's strategy and business objectives.
  • Facilitate learning solutions to include: individual training, group instruction, self-study, video, and computer-based training to develop employee skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners on change management activities for the business units.
  • Conduct diagnostic needs analysis to determine appropriate instructional design methods, content of training and medium. Conduct research and work with subject matter experts to gain a detailed understanding of project scope and depth.
  • Ensure alignment of training programs with other talent system and initiatives, including high potential programs, career development initiatives and succession planning programs.
  • Support regional talent management programs by implementing entity-specific plans, serving as active career manager to high potential employees, and administering the talent review process.
  • Maintain interaction and working knowledge of business units across the Company, and create strong business relationships across the organization and regional TM&D team.
  • Manage TM&D Specialist role.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in learning development or related field. Advanced degree/education is preferred.
  • 7+ years of related experience, including instructional design or related training experience, change management and organizational development experience.
  • Knowledgeable with training curriculum design and adult learning methodologies, experience managing direct reports.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, consultative, organizational and time management skills required.
  • Top notch consultative skills to effectively interact with various levels of employees.
  • Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills required.
  • Microsoft Office software skills required (e.g., PowerPoint, Teams, Excel, Word).
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of insurance business preferred.
