Kavaliro has partnered with a client who is seeking a fulltime, direct hire, Tax Accountant for an excellent client in West Palm, FL.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, and organizations
• Conduct tax research and stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations
• Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax savings.
• Reviews products and services to maximize system security, manageability, performance and reliability.
• Assist clients with tax audits and represent them before tax authorities.
• Collaborate with other members of the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely tax filings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting
• 3+ years of Public Accounting Experience
• Proficient with MS Office programs (Excel/Word/Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
• Trust accounting & tax preparation experience is a plus
• Strong writing and communication skills
