Tax Manager - HYBRID

We are seeking an experienced & highly technical Tax Manager to lead tax reporting and provision work, partner with outsourced tax support, and drive special project & innovation initiatives. This role is critical to ensure compliance with ASC 740 regulations, as well as accurate and timely tax-related financial disclosures. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in tax, applying their understanding of technical pronouncements impacting tax, while also demonstrating a hands-on approach towards driving tasks to completion within a dynamic business environment. As a key partner within the tax function, you will manage and drive strategic initiatives having an impact on overall compliance, efficiency, and the ongoing evolution/optimization of the tax function. Tax Manager Benefits and Compensation:

• Highly competitive compensation of $130,000-$150,000 (commensurate with experience), plus bonus potential!

Tax Manager Job Duties:

• Manages quarterly tax provisions, including deferred tax assets/liabilities and effective tax rate reconciliation under US GAAP (ASC 740)
• Ensures compliance with SOX internal controls for tax functions
• Manages jurisdictional reporting requirements
• Oversees accurate and timely filing of tax returns, including international calculations (GILTI, FDII, FTC, BEAT), leveraging outsourced partners
• Maintains tax depreciation calculations and book-to-tax adjustments
• Supports the annual R&D Tax Credit study
• Reviews indirect tax filings (GST/HST, VAT) complied by outsourced partners
• Manages global income tax accounts reconciliation and transfer pricing compliance, in concert with outsourced partners
• Provides support to external auditors and tax compliance providers
• Monitors tax law developments and conducts technical research
• Assist in updating/evolving current processes, systems, and templates
• Leads special tax projects and business initiatives

Tax Manager Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required, CPA & public accounting preferred
• 4-7+ years tax management experience
• Multinational tax exposure
• Proficiency in tax software
• Able to thrive in a dynamic, expansive environment
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of tax laws, regulations, and industry trends.
• Ability to successfully work independently while meeting strict deadlines
• Solid critical thinking and analysis and attention to detail
