You'll oversee tax compliance and provide strategic tax advice for a large portfolio of companies while working closely with deal teams on tax due diligence and advising on acquisitions, restructurings, and other transactions. Tax Manager Requirements:
  • 7-8+ years of experience in public accounting and/or corporate tax work
  • Experience with partnership and corporate taxes, U.S. federal and state
  • Experience in ASC 740 income tax accounting and Subchapter C
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting,
  • Extensive partnership experience, including complex partnership tax structures
  • Strong Excel skills (formulas, vlookups, pivot tables)
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint
  • CPA or Masters in Tax is preferred
  • Big 4 experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to hit strict deadlines

Tax Manager Responsibilities:
  • Manage tax compliance for 80 portfolio companies, including overseeing K-1s and income tax returns
  • Coordinate and review work performed by external tax consultants and Big 4 firms
  • Provide tax due diligence and structural advice on acquisitions and other investment transactions
  • Collaborate with deal teams and portfolio companies to ensure tax accuracy and compliance
  • Analyze and advise on the tax implications of buying and selling companies
  • Conduct tax research and assist in tax audits
  • Manage relationships with external CPA firms and ensure proper tax filings and compliance
  • Handle a blend of tax compliance and advisory work, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services
