If you are a seasoned tax professional with 10+ years of experience, particularly strong in real estate limited partnerships, C and S corps, fiduciary, and high net worth individual tax. This is a great opportunity and we would be excited to talk with you further. A CPA is required, with excellent staff management and training skills. A JD or Master's degree in tax is advantageous. Experience with BNA and Lacerte tax preparation software is preferred. We value candidates interested in entrepreneurship and collaborative support for fellow entrepreneurs.

Key Responsibilities:

Possess exceptional technical competency in taxation, especially in individual, real estate partnership, corporate, and fiduciary tax areas.

Proficiency in California and multi-state tax rules, as well as Lacerte and BNA Tax Projection software.

Review tax returns prepared by staff and occasionally prepare complex returns.

While not mandatory, the ability to generate and nurture new business is valued.

We prefer candidates from high-quality local CPA firms but also welcome those from Big-4 and national CPA firms. Corporate Tax Directors or VPs with less than two years in public accounting will also be considered. Base salary potential ranges from $200K to $300K, possibly higher!

We offer a unique work schedule, with Fridays off outside of tax season. Work nine hours daily from Monday to Thursday, except during peak tax periods.
