USD Head Start is seeking a Teacher Aide for the Tea, SD Head Start classroom. This is a full-time SD state-benefits eligible position. Hours are 7:45 a.m. to 4:15 Monday - Friday with a 1/2 hr unpaid lunch. This is a 9.5-month position that works from mid August to 5/31.
Benefits include accrual of annual and sick leave, paid holidays, life insurance, matching contribution to the SDRS and health insurance.
Position responsibilities include working with a Teacher and Nutrition aide to support children ages 3-5 in a preschool classroom setting. Prefer candidate with experience with young children and Child Development Associate Credential. If CDA not yet earned, the program has funding to support employee in earning CDA.
