SUMMARY

Dodge is seeking a teacher for general study skills to support student success as well as Science Olympiad or similar elective program.

The general study skills teacher effectively manages the learning environment to prepare lesson plans, instruct students and evaluate and monitor students' performance, in order to advance student achievement. Understand and appreciate diversity. Work collaboratively with a team to plan instruction. Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Arizona Elementary K-8 OR Secondary 6-12 Teaching Certificate
Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

COMMENTS

Effective: 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR

LOCATION: Dodge Magnet Middle School - Pima & Craycroft Area

FTE : 1.0 - 7.5 hours per day

Work Calendar: 9.5 month

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.

Probationary Contracts will be issued for any contingent Certifications, Positions that are 0.6 FTE or less, and certified employees within their first three years with the District.
