Team Lead Bridge Inspection Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a Team Lead for a Bridge Inspection and Design Engineering team. This person will be responsible for reviewing reports, taking lead on inspections, operating access equipment, coordinating with vendors, and communicating with people onsite and driving the project forward. The office is located and Virginia Beach, VA and work is done all around the Hampton Roads area. Work is split 50/50 in the office and in the field. This position includes travel 25% of the time and night work 10-25% percent of the time (night time work is accompanied by increased compensation).

Certified by Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT)
Capacity and experience mentoring less tenured professionals
Experience reviewing reports, working with vendors, and taking lead on inspections
Experience operating equipment
Ability and willingness to travel across Virginia
Ability and willingness to complete site visits during nighttime

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Professional Engineer (PE) Certified
Ability to do quality control reviews
Experience bringing in new projects
