Responsibilities:
  • Act in supervisory capacity by temporarily taking on the responsibilities of the shift supervisor in their absence, ensuring continuity of operations.
  • Report any problems or suggestions for improvement to the shift supervisor to enhance team efficiency.
  • Maintain open communication with unit staff and other departments to identify specific needs for task completion.
  • Ensure all team members have clearly defined tasks and are working effectively in their assigned areas.
  • Monitor inventory levels to guarantee that all necessary supplies and equipment are available for team members, reporting shortages to the shift supervisor.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all work areas are properly cleaned, maintained, and in good repair.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation regulations meticulously, promptly reporting any issues to the shift supervisor.
  • Ensure compliance with all Hospital and Department policies and procedures to maintain operational standards and promote a safe working environment.


Qualifications:

Required:
  • 2 years relevant experience

Preferred:
  • HS Diploma/GED

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
  • Act 34
