TEAM LEADER - LOG PROCESSING RELIEF - CAMDEN PLYWOOD

Our Team

Georgia Pacific has an opening for a self-starter with the desire to drive improvement in all work processes in our Log Yard and to fill a position as TEAM LEADER - LOG PROCESSING RELIEF SHIFT in Camden Texas. The Individual selected must be available to work any shift, holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.

What You Will Do

  • Hold manager's confidence to make decisions with employees, customers regarding being able to do the right thing.
  • Maintain employee confidentiality within the crew and organization
  • Manage uptime for all machine centers and be able to delegate tasks
  • Ensure proper training for new personnel in how to safely operate machine centers.
  • Ensure the completion of Basic Care route, Active Plant downtime and entering work requests into MP2
  • Maintain adequate operational supplies
  • Basic Computer skills


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • 2 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Experience coaching, leading and directing employees
  • Experience using a computer for record-keeping and documentation functions (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Must be willing to work any shift, holidays, weekends and overtime as needed


What Will Put You Ahead

  • Logging experience in a leadership setting
  • Experience operating heavy equipment
