Responsibilities:
• Move materials, parts and/or products within the facility via forklift
• Package finished products for shipping
• Maintain work areas in clean and orderly manner
• Ability to work flexible hours, overtime and weekends as directed by the run schedule, which may be unpredictable and on short notice of required overtime
• Must have technical learning skills
• Maintain safe work environment and follow all safety standards
• Comply with all OSHA standards and Textron health & safety standards
• Comply with all ISO 14001 standards
• Comply with all IATF 16949 standards
• Identify waste minimization and material recycling opportunities where applicable
Ergonomic Focus:
• Perform other duties incidental to the job as directed
• Able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds on a regular basis
• Some aspects of the job may require repetitive motion
• Up to 12-hour shifts (standing and/or operating forklifts for long periods of time)
• Significant amount of bending and twisting
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Works well in a team environment
• Customer service oriented
• Previous manufacturing experience a plus
• Minimum computer experience
• Forklift license is preferred
