Job Description:
The Florida Everblades professional hockey team is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to fill the dual role of Team Services Coordinator and Video Coach. This position will be crucial in supporting the team's operations on and off the ice by managing team logistics, coordinating player services, and providing video analysis and coaching support.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Services Coordinator Responsibilities:
  • Assist in coordinating team travel arrangements, including booking flights, hotels, and ground transportation for players, coaches, and staff.
  • Assist in organizing team meals, catering services, and other related needs.
  • Assist with player services such as housing arrangements, transportation needs, and other off-ice support.
  • Act as a liaison between players, coaching staff, and management to address logistical or administrative needs.
  • Scout and formulate recruiting lists
  • Coordinate team travel logistics, including visa applications, work permits, and other immigration-related documentation for all players and staff.
  • Manage communication with immigration authorities, legal counsel, and relevant agencies to ensure visa requirements and regulations compliance.

Video Coach Responsibilities:
  • Film practices, games, and opponent scouting footage for video analysis and player development purposes.
  • Collaborate with coaching staff to create video presentations for team meetings and player feedback sessions.
  • Pre-scout, live tagging and provide 1 v1 clips via xos catapult
  • Utilize video analysis software to track player statistics, trends, and performance metrics for individual and team improvement.

Other:
  • Participate and assist coaching staff with daily on-ice practice sessions.
  • Travel with the team and assist with other hockey operations personnel
  • Assist with communications and marketing personnel on an as-needed basis as it relates to social media, team interviews with media, and other communications tasks.
  • Other duties assigned by the General Manager and Head Coach.


Qualifications:
  • Professional, college or junior hockey player background preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in sports management, analytics, kinesiology, or related field preferred
  • Experience in team operations, logistics coordination, or video analysis in a sports environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with coaches, players, and staff members.
  • Proficiency in hockey video analysis; experience with xos catapult preferred but not required.
