Teamcenter Developer Responsibilities


  • Develop and expand the capabilities of the tools and solutions the engineers depend upon to create products.

  • Provide technical support via telephone, remote assist screensharing, and video conferencing for Teamcenter and NX.

  • Support Teamcenter configuration and customization, UAT, and product issue resolution.

  • Troubleshoot system functional or performance issues and determine resolution.

  • Maintain primary, failover, and Multisite Teamcenter environments in different data centers and install client/server software in multi-server environments.

  • Develop custom handlers, user extensions, scripts, and client-side/AWC customizations.

  • Configure Teamcenter modules like Structure Manager, Workflows Project, Access Manager, PLMXML administration and classification.

  • Create Teamcenter training materials, test scripts, documentation, NX seed files, and templates.

  • Perform Teamcenter and NX upgrade tasks to the system.

  • Perform Production and QA Testing to ensure system integrity.

  • Define scope of new functional requirements of Teamcenter, manage the development and deployment of that functionality which can include vendors and cross functional, internal, partners.

  • Telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. permitted.


Minimum Qualifications


  • Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems and Technology, Mathematics, or a related field and five years of work experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Requires five years of experience in the following:

  • 1. Teamcenter user support and administration experience

  • 2. Configuring and customizing Teamcenter on both server and client components using ITK, C++, Java, or SOA

  • 3. Product development workflows, classification administration, project, and access manager

  • 4. Integrating Teamcenter with other applications and developing integrations with other PLM systems using web services

  • 5. BMIDE expertise capable of creating data model features and customizations

  • 6. Active Workspace configurations and customizations

  • 7. Integrating Teamcenter with MCAD tools

  • 8. Testing and deploying Teamcenter upgrades

  • 9. Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
