Tech Solutions Engineer

A fast growing software company is looking to hire a tech solutions engineer to support their expanding client base. They have created an interoperability platform to connect various engineering systems, becoming a true disruptor in the digital engineering space. Today, their ontology-backed interoperability system enables seamless communication between software, mechanical, and system engineering tools for their clients in the automotive, aerospace, and defense companies. The role is preferred to be in Albuquerque, NM to offer on-site support for one of their largest clients when requested, otherwise it can sit remote in Albuquerque. In addition to base salary, they offer a 10-15% annual bonus that has historically always been paid out, great PPO-based health and dental plans, and pay your home internet! This role is great for individuals who enjoy working small innovative teams using new, cutting-edge technology.

The Tech Solutions Engineer will be responsible for hands-on implementing and developing ontologies to support data transfer between engineering applications. The engineer must be able to work closely with internal and external technical stakeholders to ensure deployment and integration within customers environments, so having knowledge of cloud-based DevOps practices is key. This is an implementation/post-sales role so it is expected that the engineer has the ability to conduct training for onboarding new customers and identify gaps in other organizations in order to continue expanding our clients footprint across other verticals that they may not be supporting currently.

Compensation: $120k to $150k base salary. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
- Software engineer background
- Java, Debugging web-based applications (HTML, CSS, Typescript)
- DevOps experience, either hands on deployment or knowledge of a cloud environment
- Excellent customer service skills & the ability to interact with clients
- Ability to obtain a clearance

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience or background with ontology
- Experience with Docker & Kubernetes
- Experience with CAD technologies such as SolidWorks
