Position Summary:

Join our After Sales Account Team as a Technical Training Instructor. You will play a crucial role in developing a high-performing retail team within After Sales by designing and implementing training programs. This position focuses on facilitating product knowledge and skills-based training for Technicians and Shop Foremen, driving learning and culture change in a dynamic retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver technical, product knowledge, and skill-based instruction, including certification and product launch programs.
• Participate in curricula design and development as a subject matter expert.
• Collaborate with field team members to assess training needs and provide feedback.
• Plan regular Technical Training schedules.
• Assist in determining core competencies for Technicians and Shop Foremen.
• Ensure quality delivery and adherence to goals and standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends and automotive products.
• Manage time and budget responsibilities effectively.

Desired Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of retail automotive experience or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of facilitation experience.
• Unique Skills:
• Knowledge of adult learning theory and Process Improvement principles.
• Excellent presentation and listening skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Strong facilitation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to diagnose dealership processes and understand top-performing dealership functions.
• Self-motivated, well-organized, and a continuous learner of automotive technology.
• Team player with the ability to build credibility with dealers and field teams.
• Ability to travel 25% of the time and future relocation flexibility.

We are looking for candidates with brand loyalty and knowledge, strong technical skills, and effective pedagogical methods. Ideal candidates might be Master Technicians ready to transition to teaching or motivated technicians with leadership qualities. Experience with German auto brands or from other OEMs is a plus. We prefer candidates from local automotive repair shops and discourage applicants with a sales background.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $50.62 per hour
