Ecolab is providing an exciting opportunity to join our Digital Solutions team as a Technical Business Process Analyst. This role will focus on digital platforms to enable & support our Food Safety Solutions (FSS) organization with data-backed understandings. In this agile environment, the Business Analyst will work closely with the business and technical stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and build ad-hoc or scheduled reporting and dashboards needed to make critical business decisions. This role will require understanding of the digital program and collaboration with the team to help build new processes or suggest improvements to existing ones. Platforms include but is not limited to the Microsoft suite of tools including Azure, SQL Server, Power BI, SharePoint, and App Center.

Location: This role is based out of our Irving, TX office and has a hybrid work schedule

In this role, you will:
  • Partner with the Executive Leadership and development teams to identify, plan and build the necessary data driven insights
  • Understand and evaluate the various data sources and the data itself to provide the architecture solution and data modeling needed to build an Analytics portfolio
  • Be able to document the data flow for all the reporting needs
  • Ability to scope, analyze, translate, and document the use cases and collaborate with the technical team to build the required 'pipelines' needed to collect data from multiple sources
  • Work with the development team to design and maintain the data systems
  • Ability to organize, and analyze the data and clearly communicate actionable insights and trends
  • Drive and desire to dive deep into the data and test the quality before publishing it
  • Manages and communicates across multiple levels of businesses
  • Support analysis of business process and improvements for FSS
  • Works with subject matter experts to ensure proper workflows
  • Manages users, roles, profiles, groups, sharing rules, and other setup options
  • Troubleshoots and resolves issues in a timely fashion


Minimum, Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2 years of professional work experience
  • 2 years of hands-on SQL database and Azure experience
  • 2 years of building data visualizations in Power BI
  • 1 years of experience with Agile Methodology
  • No immigration sponsorship available for this position.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to understand business needs, build strategic partnerships, and write reports and build data visualizations
  • Experience building data sources and writing SQL queries
  • Technical skills include knowledge of database languages such as SQL, R, C#, or Python; spreadsheet tools such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets; and data visualization software such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Experience working with offshore teams
  • Able to successfully manage core responsibilities independently or with limited over-sight
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Ability to maintain critical thinking while balancing multiple tasks
  • Must have experience working on multiple projects and meeting project objectives in a timely manner
  • Proven ability of learning new skills, technologies, and be a 'numbers' person
