Technical Field Advisor

An employer sitting in Monterey Park is looking to hire a Technical Field Advisor. This will be a full time position M-Friday, requiring every Wednesday onsite. This person will be supporting a major capital project tied called the Control Center Modernization effort. This effort will include the HCA Methane Sensor Project. This Technical Advisor will be supporting the Construction organization with configuring and commissioning of the HCA Methane sensor sites. This role will provide technical support in the deployment and commissioning of new sensing equipment installed across Transmission systems throughout the Southern California territory. He/She will assist in the development of factory and site acceptance testing and point-to-point functional validation for deployed field assets and systems. This person will be a technical expert in providing field support for deployed field assets and technologies along with implementation of new control room and field operation processes and procedures. This role is paying between $40-60/hr depending on years of experience).

Required Skills & Experience
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- 5+ years of experience in Transmission, Distribution, and/or Customer Service Field Operation related technologies
- Experience within Utilities, Gas, Telecom industries (SCADA, Testing, Modums, Routers etc.)
- Knowledge on technical support in the deployment and commissioning of new equipment
- Experience commissioning and configuring sites
- Factory site acceptance testing related experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in related field
