Design and develop Big Data analytics and cloud-based software applications to address business needs. Elicit and capture business requirements in an Agile software development environment. Create guidelines for design and development, performance tuning, deployment, and maintenance of analytical solutions. Assist with building prototype solutions as necessary, and performing ad-hoc analysis to answer business questions. Configure and develop automated code deployment through CI/CD pipelines. Participate in backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and technical resourcing requirements. Coordinate with Microsoft Azure administrators for user access, cloud infrastructure maintenance and user management. Support the development of acceptance criteria for user stories and assist with operational transition, training, knowledge transfer and standard operating procedures (SOP) documentation. Monitor scheduled jobs and processes in KPMG's production environment to ensure successful completion and design processes to aid in troubleshooting.

WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following: Maintaining and analyzing data using database queries and relational data models, including SQL; Utilizing statistical programming language, including Python, in developing analytical solutions; Utilizing scripting languages, including Powershell and bash; Handling data models using Data Analysis Expressions (DAX); Architecting, designing, developing, modifying and maintaining robust, scalable and inter-operable applications using PySpark, Azure Databricks, Synapse Pipelines, Azure Data Lake Storage, Python and Synapse Serverless SQL; and Developing reusable components for the existing complex systems by utilizing programming language, including Python, PySpark and SQL.

Travel to various locations throughout the US required up to 5%.
