By effectively collaborating on the operations team within the 24/7 Network Operations Center (NOC) environment, the Technical Operations Specialist will provide monitoring of Enhanced Mobile Satellite Services (EMSS) operations. This includes physical security systems, building management/monitoring systems, telephone switching equipment, radio equipment, satellites, and data communications equipment. Your responsibilities while working with your shift teammates will entail responding to alarms, testing services, building customer and system trouble-tickets, and providing situation awareness to subject matter experts and customers. You will be supporting the EMSS program, part of the United States Space Force. Think youre up to the task?

- A Bachelors degree in a related specialized area or field or equivalent plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree
- Extensive knowledge of communications systems and network operations
- Solid knowledge in the technical application of network management systems and corresponding tools such as Linux and Windows OS and REMEDY/SL1 (or equivalent) based trouble reporting and tracking
- Strong ability to develop solutions to highly complex problems that require significant ingenuity, innovation and creativity
- Solid communication skills to interface with customers of the system or network
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
