Overview

Seeking a Technical Platform Lead for our client's Investment Operations Group working on site in their Boston office. The Investment Operations Technical Platform Lead will play a key role in supporting all aspects of technology for the investment operations business team. This team is responsible for managing business functions including portfolio accounting, corporate action process, pricing and security data management, performance, and reconciliation. This person will work very closely with multiple business and technology teams to ensure all platforms are properly configured and manage a backlog of improvements and strategic business initiatives.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Facilitate technology projects from start to finish, including gathering/documenting requirements, communicating with development team, and overseeing/assisting with testing, implementation, and ongoing maintenance
• Manage backlog of business team's requirements and facilitate prioritization and development
• Develop a detailed understanding of the investment operations workflows and current technology solutions that support them
• Perform product management activities such as requirements gathering, detailed data analysis, and testing while collaborating with business teams.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and scrum sessions with the development teams.
• Plan and forecast project and development activities across initiatives with project managers and SCRUM masters.
• Participate in the onboarding and oversight of project resources as needed.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience on project teams in the financial services industry, ideally within a buy side organization
• Four-year college degree

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of data analysis and SQL
• Understanding of asset management operations workflows and functions.
• Understanding of full development lifecycle and interest in pursuing a career in an evolving technology organization

• Relevant project management experience

Actual salary will depend on factors such as skills, qualifications, experience, market and work location. The annual salary range for this position is between: $155,000-$175,000 USD.
