Amazon Security is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to help realize our vision for security-focused, builder tooling, as part of Amazon's continued mission to shift security left and protect customers. You will help manage and grow our technology stacks which enable secure system design and threat modeling for Amazon builders and their software systems. The products built by this team are used across all of Amazon's organizations and teams, giving you the unique opportunity to have company-wife influence and impact.

Key job responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with stakeholders (business leaders, subject matter experts, etc.) to identify software and security needs and address them through the most effective and efficient solutions.

• Own the continuous improvement of our product and services to make sure Amazon builders can quickly and effectively design and threat model secure systems, saving builder time designing software and security engineer time assessing threat models.

• Build and continuously improve our training scheduling/assignment mechanisms that help ensure that every minute our employees invest in training is time well spent

• Design and deliver self-paced/live trainings

• Ensure we use learning tools/systems in the most efficient way

• Use data and analytics to measure and increase the impact and effectiveness of the initiatives you own

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

- 2+ years of technical product or program management experience

- 2+ years of software development experience

- 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

- Familiarity with information security, application security, and/or threat modeling concepts.

- Experience performing statistical analysis of data using SQL, Excel, and other tools.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $197,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
