The WW Technology Deployment org is seeking a talented and solutions-oriented Technical Program Manager (TPM) to own the end-to-end deployment solution for one of Amazon's biggest audacious goals (BAG) for transformation of the fulfillment network. Your work typically focuses on defining the goals of all key stakeholder functions responsible for delivering on the BAG deployment solution. You will work across disciplines to drive prioritization and maintain commitments on program delivery.

Key job responsibilities

• \tDemonstrate ownership by acting as the primary point of contact for all program needs

• \tFacilitate interactions within the Deployment Readiness organization to address program needs and support learning opportunities

• \tDrive and prioritize key workstreams with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on program objectives

• \tHost strategic tabletop games with stakeholders and own DfD (Design for Deployment) feedback

• \tLead the development of org-level metrics to ensure the most impactful delivery goals are formulated to meet program goals

• \tCoordinate working with each stakeholder team to ensure there is commitment to SMART goals that ladders into the org-level committed goal

• \tEstablish a cadence and mechanism to review goal statuses and progress towards committed SMART goals

• \tManage escalations or misalignments when there are risks to delivering committed services with high quality

• \tManage tradeoff decisions with key stakeholders

• \tWork with stakeholder teams to determine the appropriate escalation, review process, and resolution for delivery blockers

• \tDevelop clear RACI to drive accountability of each stakeholder contributor

• \tEstablish a cadence to review the overall performance of the stakeholder teams, the timeline, and progress to overall deliverables

• \tManage any associated Correction of Error (COE) documentation and drive follow-up actions that to solve for root cause with responsible owners

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Physics, Operations Research, Finance, or equivalent

- Experience with program management, tracking complex schedules, and allocating resources

- Experience working across teams, defining program requirements, and optimizing cross-team processes to improve efficiency and delivery

- Confidence operating independently and working with ambiguity

- Ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of experience deploying automation in complex industrial setting

- Experience devising metrics, tracking goals, and analyzing business impact of programs/initiatives

- Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, schedule trade-offs, and evaluate new concepts with technical leads

- Able to travel throughout North America and Europe up to 50% of the time

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
