Description

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager that will support the execution of Privacy & Security by Design practices across products, infrastructure, and process at Verily. This role is responsible for overseeing programmatic support of privacy & security controls, mechanisms and protocols across the organization and product lines. This team member will work cross-functionally with the Privacy/Legal, Engineering and Product Teams.

Responsibilities
  • Foster a security & privacy champions community (e.g., recruiting speakers, sharing developments, maintaining documentation and communication channels, etc.).
  • Execute and improve the monthly CISO programs meetings.
  • Support headcount resource planning and annual budgeting process for CISO organization.
  • Lead complex cross-functional projects using technical expertise from start to finish.
  • Develop metrics, visualizations, and compliance artifacts.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in a related role and experience with concepts and practices such as privacy program management and information security.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Atlassian products.
  • Certifications related to privacy/security and/or project management (e.g., CISSP, CIPP, PMP).
  • Prior exposure to regulated healthcare and life sciences companies a plus.
  • Knowledge of regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), Health Information Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), New York Department of Financial Services (NYDFS), etc.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000 - $184,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
